Mental Health benefits are often different from medical benefits and may have higher patient cost-share or require prior authorization to access care. It is recommended that the client(s) contact their insurance company prior to scheduling an appointment for specific information regarding their specific plan benefits, authorization requirements, and affiliated providers. I will gladly bill your insurance directly, however, clients are responsible for any deductibles, cost-shares, or denied charges for failure to obtain a prior authorization or for access of care by a non-participating provider.

Triwest Alliance/Choice Program (must have pre-authorization)

* Medicare members may elect Medicare Advantage plans offered by many insurance plans/groups (Care First, Molina Medicare Options Plus, Kaiser, etc.) Dr. Johnston is NOT affiliated with any Medicare Advantage plan. If you are a member of a Medicare Advantage plan, contact your provider for a referral to a contracted provider.
